This is a plug and play. After buying this product you simply open it up and plug it in a wall outlet. You then download the app to set it up and simply take 5 minutes of your time to set a WiFi name and password for the extender, you then connect it to your WiF and plug it in anywhere in the household to extend the range of the WiFi

You'll have to connect with the WPS on the router.  because it's 2g and 5g, you'd have to do it twice to connect to both.  but that's pretty much it.
