Depends on the coverage of your router. Try placing at an outlet half way between And go from there.

You would first need to determine whether your router's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal reliably reaches that location. You may be able to test this by using your smartphone or another wireless device at the garage location. If your router's signal does not reach the location, you might consider outdoor Wi-Fi solution options, such as our Deco Outdoor series, for additional Wi-Fi coverage to outdoor locations.
