Yes! I purchased this phone exactly for this purpose, swapped SIM cards and WHAMO! I have a Safelink Lifeline phone that is very good quality! Smart move whoever figures out this $50 upgrade. You'll mever regret the upgrade. Throw the free Lifeline phone in a Goodwill donation collection box for some low tech person to enjoy!
