is this core Prime TracFone CDMA or GSM? null

The one at Best Buy is a Cdma. Verizon. Be careful and look at the model # on the box. Should be an 820C. The "C" is the letter to look for in the model number if you want Verizon. I had an old non-smartphone from Tracfone & it was in the Verizon network & I was able to use it in places where some of my friends who had better AT&T phones couldn't get service! Even worked fine in Hawaii calling to other States..
