Best Buy notes that this phone does not come with a SIM card. What is the reason for that? null

I am not sure why Best Buy says this. I just bought two of these phones from BestBuy online. Both phones came with SIm cards already pre-installed. All I had to do was call Tracfone and activate them. Got activated within minutes.

This phone was bought for a replacement to our older Tracphone. The SIM card with all of its stored information was transferred to the new telephone. Best Buy will handle all of that for you free of charge.

My phone has a sim card in it. I know because tracfone had me remove it and wipe it then replace it trying to get the service to work.

We just set up my wife's cell phone, and yes, the SIM card was already installed! All I had to do was remove it and reinsert it to activate the cell phone! It was also easy to transfer her Verizon number to the new cell phone..
