I don't know. I do not use family plan.As far as texts go, you purchase minutes, texts, and data. You should also know you cannot use triple minute plans. Shop around at different sites to check prices for cards with time for "smart phone" use.

Please try again later.Smart phone work different than flip phone, first text message do not use up your minutes, it count again your text allowance, every one you send or recieve, it count as 1. The same with GPS, it count again your DATA, the minutes are for phone call only.
