The TurboTax Premier 2024 Desktop Software does include up to 5 Federal e-files and 1 State preparation download. Per IRS rules, you can only e-file up to five federal returns using the same email address or phone number with personal tax return preparation products. You can however, print and mail the 6th return. Additional state downloads can be purchased from within the State Taxes section in TurboTax for $40. State e-file is sold separately. (Print for free or e-file for an additional $25 per state return.)
