A:Answer The cord is very, very short, so if your Dell doesn't have a headphone jack in the right place, you'll need an extension cable. They don't take power from the headphone jack, so you'll need a long USB cable to hook up to it as well. Also, it fell apart in less than a week when I bought one and they won't cover it under warranty, so you're better off buying from a different company.
