“I own a 700X and bought a second 700X for my wife. We use these headsets on our own Xboxes. Our headsets will not pair at all with an Xbox or will repeatedly pair with the wrong Xbox. Can you really not use the same headset model in the same house?”

Repair it with the xbox again by pressing the pair button on the xbox and should pick up the headphones thats what i did with mine
