If i understand it correctly, it's because it needs a dongle for the xbox audio. Everything xbox has to be special, and since licensing the use the special xbox wireless signal is expensive (from what i hear) most manufacturers elect to use a usb dongle. same thing with controllers. xbox's wireless signal is proprietary

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure what that means but this headset has 2 usb 2.4 ghz dongles that plug into gaming console and PC (specific). And it can connect Bluetooth. The only wire that connects to the headset is when you charge it with USB-C cable.

According to Best Buy, True Wireless refers to "earbuds without cords that only have a connection via Bluetooth technology.". Being that the Stealth 700 Gen 3 uses a Wireless USB transmitter along with the Bluetooth connection, it would not be considered within the BestBuy definition of "True Wireless", even though the headset is completely wireless.
