Please try again later.I also wanted to mount my TV above the fireplace, but the Geek Squad and I ultimately decided perhaps the possibility of the heat exposure would present a problem. So we mounted it to a side wall with this mount that swings out from the wall to any angle. I found this alternative was certainly acceptable without any worries about heat damage.
