• Question 1. Weighs about 35lbs without the swivel mount a little more with it. Question 2. This stand is actually both. It has a bracket that attaches to the stand for a free standing swivel or you can use the INCLUDED wall mount bracket and hardware to mount it above the shelving. • It weighs about 150 pounds. It doesn't have to be wall mounted. I attached my tv to the stand which is at eye level.
