Yes it will, I just purchased a 55 inch and it fits perfectly, just make sure its put up correctly.

Likely. This stand comes with every size screw and adapters for all types of tv configurations imaginable. The bracket system is highly adjustable. We had no issue attaching our 43” LG. Very sturdy and attractive unit.
