• Hi. This product is IP44 certified, which means it can be used outdoors, however if you are planning to keep it outside all year round we suggest you follow a few simple tricks. For example consider placing the plug and controller in a protected place, and avoid plunging them into water (swimming pools, gutters, puddles...). Hope this helps!

• Just depends where you would want them. You could either put them on the outside or the inside. They do have the pro version which are made for the outside .
