If you’d like. The lights are split into two equal lengths connecting to the main controller. If you only connect one length, you’ll have half the 600 lights, light up…and the other half can stay in the box.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can if you want, but just so you know: all 600 lights are powered from the same power source and cannot be separated. There are 2 bundles of 300, if you want to use just one bundle you would have to conceal the other bundle somewhere out of sight, and it would still be lit up... Also when the lights are in the bundle they do tend to get warm, but not hot... Inefficient maybe, but it could suffice if that is what you want..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Kinda....The two 300 light strands are divided by lead wire that is around 10 feet or so long. You could use half of it, but the second "set" would probably still light up. I haven't attempted to map only half of them, so you might be able to only have color on half, but they would still be connected to the other half.. You could probably set them in a shoe box or something so you don't see them. I put all 600 lights on my 7 foot tree and the effects are awesome.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello! One trick might be to map the entire string and then, using the "drawing" effect creation mode, select and light only the LEDS you want. Anyway, if you need any additional help, please feel free to contact us, through the Help section of our Twinkly official website.
