“How well does the "outdoor mode/boost" work? Does the sound quality suffer at all? I'd like to know if this is a well functioning feature, or more of a gimmick? I'd be using this both indoors and outdoors. Thanks”

Outdoor mode does give it a suprising kick. You do loose a bit of the low end, but still sounds great.

The outdoor use of this speaker is awesome! Just reviewed it and mentioned how well it works! Great for indoor and outdoor use!
