“I am buying a Samsung Galaxy A01 off of eBay with no sim card, If I buy this, does it come with a sim card? Or do I have to take this card thing to Verizon and let them do their thing, and if I take this bring your own device thing do I pay for the card?”

The SIM card kit, purchased alone, is between $10 - $15. It essentially is a SIM Card in a box. The term "Kit" is a bit misleading. Once you purchase the SIM card, you can install it with a Verizon rep over the phone, n person or probably even online by yourself...but obviously you are going to need to set up Verizon plan for your device. If you purchase a device and intend to get a Verizon plan anyway, just bring your device to a Verizon store and they will likely give you a SIM card when you open your account.
