Q: QuestionIf I have a verizon line already can I use this card to switch to a new phone? I bought a refurbished verizon phone and my sim doesn't fit.
Asked by Nina.
- A:Answer Yes

Q: QuestionDo you have to pay every month when using this card with an unlocked phone? If so, how much do you have to pay?
Asked by Laylah.
- A:Answer Yes. When you buy a sim card, you are only paying for the card, not the service. The card is tied to a specific company, usually. Prepaid service is paid in advance, every month. Rates vary from about $15 to $45 between different companies and different service plans so Google rates for prepaid plans, pick what you want to pay and then purchase a sim card for that company and sign up for their service.

Q: QuestionMy wife and I have iPhone 8’s with TMobile and we want to change. What do we need to do?
Asked by Harold.
- A:Answer I would suggest going to www.verizonwirelss.com and going through the steps to activate a new device. They will ask for your phone’s IMEI to see if it is compatible. If so, all you need to do is purchase the sim, install it into your phone, and pick your plan. You can transfer your existing numbers as well.

Q: QuestionCan one use the prepaid SIM card in an unlocked phone and later move the SIM card and phone number from a prepaid Verizon account to a regular Verizon account for a family with a shared data plan?
Asked by Steve.
- A:Answer I do believe that as long as it is a regular family plan customer service should not have any problems moving the phone and the number. You will want to call from a phone that is not the one you are adding. If it has anything to do with a post paid plan I could not tell you. When doing the switch though I would call customer service instead of visiting their store, it's quicker and they won't waste your time trying to upsell you.
