Thank you for your inquiry Ana. If the water is not decreasing, but the fan is running, that would mean that the filter is dry. This can be because the air is so dry that water evaporates faster than it is being wicked up by the filter. To counter this, we would advise soaking the filter and checking every few hours in case the filter needs to be resoaked. As the humidity in the room rises, the filter will be able to wick water faster than it evaporates. The other reason could be because the filter is encrusted with minerals and needs to be replaced.
