  • QuestionHow long is a full tank supposed to last. I’ve had mine in for going in 3 days and no movement in the waterlines

    • Answer Thank you for your inquiry Ana. If the water is not decreasing, but the fan is running, that would mean that the filter is dry. This can be because the air is so dry that water evaporates faster than it is being wicked up by the filter. To counter this, we would advise soaking the filter and checking every few hours in case the filter needs to be resoaked. As the humidity in the room rises, the filter will be able to wick water faster than it evaporates. The other reason could be because the filter is encrusted with minerals and needs to be replaced.     • Answer Thank you for your inquiry. To use Vicks VapoPads with the Vicks Cool Mist Humidifier, place the VapoPads inside the scent pad door located on the front of the humidifier.   • Questionwhats the differance with the 2 out put settings

    • Answer The lower setting is quieter and a liitle less moisture. I run mine on this setting 24/7 and its perfect. The higher setting is much louder. Not so great for sleeping i felt.

  • QuestionI've started to notice on the higher setting. Every few minutes it seems to pass an air bubble through it. Quite loudly, is that normal?

    • Answer Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, this is normal. As the unit uses water in the reservoir, water leaves the tank, and air has to take its place in the tank. The faster the water leaves the tank and is used, the larger the air bubbles.
