A: If you rinse it out everyday months
A: Thank you for your inquiry Ana. If the water is not decreasing, but the fan is running, that would mean that the filter is dry. This can be because the air is so dry that water evaporates faster than it is being wicked up by the filter. To counter this, we would advise soaking the filter and checking every few hours in case the filter needs to be resoaked. As the humidity in the room rises, the filter will be able to wick water faster than it evaporates. The other reason could be because the filter is encrusted with minerals and needs to be replaced. Q: Found the unit. So where do you put the Vicks refill pads and where do I put the filter?
A: Thank you for your inquiry. To use Vicks VapoPads with the Vicks Cool Mist Humidifier, place the VapoPads inside the scent pad door located on the front of the humidifier. Q: whats the differance with the 2 out put settings
A: The lower setting is quieter and a liitle less moisture. I run mine on this setting 24/7 and its perfect. The higher setting is much louder. Not so great for sleeping i felt.

A: Thank you for your inquiry Waldo. This is an Evaporative humidifier, so there is no mist that comes out of the unit. However, the humidified air is exhausted from the front of the unit.
