what is the sound quality like? null

It's okay.....I don't play it loud, that's not what I intended it for....the sound quality goes down as you dial up the volume.....hope this helps

The sound that comes out of the Victrola Aviator Turntable surprised me. My expectations were that this small unit would require additional speakers to make it acceptable. I was wrong, while you do have the ability to add more speakers, it sounds great as is, on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it an 8+. We may add some speakers if we put it in a our larger family room (15' x 26'), there is no need to add any in a average size room. We are very pleased with the unit as a whole and the sound brings back memories of my teenage years, I would buy this unit again which is proof that it rocks, its worth every penny.
