- Answer I'm guessing it does to play sound out of the speakers it has. Not an expert, but since it plays loud, it should have an amplifier to push the speakers yes? I have had turntables that had to be run thru amps then to speakers before, but this one is self contained and sounds good to me.

- Answer Hello, no you can’t Bluetooth the Records to the Echo Dot. The Record Player acts as a Bluetooth speaker, so you’re only able to cast audio through the record player as a speaker. No you can not use the record player as Bluetooth to the echo dot. The two are not compatible since they are both speakers.
