All directions for the VIDBOX Audio Recorder are for recording an outside source not for a source coming from your computer. Onde an outside source is recorded you can edit what you recorded.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The software may be able to record from audio playing through the sound card if your sound card is enabled as an audio recording device. This would allow the software to record from your sound card and capture ALL audio being played through your computer during the recording process. That could include system sounds from Windows. There is presently no way for our program to isolate the audio from a specific app. Since we do not have a way to test this with your sound card ahead of time, we are unable to guarantee that this option will work for you. We would recommend only purchasing this product if you would still be able to use it for its main functions of connecting an external analog audio player, such as a turntable and amp or cassette player, and recording that content to digital files.
