Based on the description, this issue most resembles what happens when the cables used on the camcorder are mismatched. Please make sure you are using the original A/V cable for the camcorder or the same type that it originally came with. Substituting an A/V stereo cable in for an A/V mono connection may cause the video and audio channels to bleed into one another, creating static/buzzing in audio and issues with the video. S-Video only supports video, so an appropriate audio connection will still need to be made from the camcorder to the capture device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.On the RCA cable the red and white are sound the yellow is the video feed. If you have an SVid connected to the cam and the Vidbox, try just the red and white to both.
