Yes you can play a ps4 or 5 on this monitor. There will be black bars on both sides if you choose to keep it at the native aspect ratio or you can stretch the image, which honestly is not to bad when playing FPS games. It will not increase your field of view though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can , however Sony does not support UW screens with 4K so that feature will not be utilized. It will run well and Sony did handle the aspect ratio stretching well. You will also only get 60fps as they only deal with 60,120. Most games will run at a pretty much locked 60fps at 1080 p on ps5 which Is normally thought to be a pretty good refresh rate.
