    Amazing monitor for the price

After doing some research I came to the conclusion that for my price range I was not going to get all the features I wanted between 2k, ultrawide, higher than 60hz, and freesync then I stumbled upon this monitor. I was skeptical at first because I had never heard of Viotek but did some research and found that they were a rather new company selling white label monitors with pretty low margins. So I figured I'll take a shot on it and worst case scenario return it if I didn't like it or something was wrong with it. I'm so glad I did, It's an amazing monitor with almost no flaws from what I can tell, the only thing I noticed was a little backlight bleeding through in some spots with a black screen, nothing I couldn't overlook and my understanding is this is a pretty common problem with ultrawide displays. My biggest gripe with the monitor is the OSD menu, it's slow and you have to press like 5 buttons to change input and considering there's 1 Displayport 1.2 port, 1 HDMI 2.0 port, and 2 HDMI 1.4 ports it's a bit of a pain to actually switch between my work and personal computer. My other minor complaint is the stand it comes with is a little wobbly, it's supposed to be VESA compliant though so if it really bothers me one day I could mount it on something else. In the end though it's an amazing monitor especially for the price, at the time I was buying this I was seeing at least double the prices for a name brand monitor.

First I have to to say I never heard of this brand. So like many I was skeptical, but I thought for the size and price I’d give it a shot. And I’m happy I did. (Kinda) so as far as the picture quality goes. It great. Very sharp and crispy. Yes crispy. Super sharp and great colors. I mainly bought this for gaming as it is labeled as such. The response time is great while playing call of Duty. Refresh rate is good as well. Though lower than I’m used to. I have an 5700xt so running at 1440p I figured 100hz would be fine. And it is and it isn’t. I say that because warzone runs at around 100hz at the highest settings. But many other games run way higher at 1440p. So I have to think about that. Build is find. Tho a bit low and can’t be raised higher. My problem with this is that there seems to be flickering with the backlight. I’m not sure if that is a defect(I think so) happens sometimes while gaming and just turning on the monitor. Overall a great deal for a 34 inch ultra wide. I do recommend but look for issues or get geek squad protection plan.

I use this monitor to play videos for my kids, run discord/other apps, and have used it to game. I don’t suggest FPS games that need the higher hz or response time, but any other games this runs great. Even on FPS you can run smooth if you really want that ultra wide experience, but I just like my 25” 144 hz monitor for it more. The stand isn’t that good but on a vesa mount mine looks great! I would say this is a starter ultra wide. The price is great for the perks! Don’t miss out on this or go spending anymore money on more expensive when this one gets the job done.

I was a bit sketchy at forking $350 for an UHD monitor from a brand I’d never heard of before. When unboxing the monitor for the first time, I found everything was packaged really well and nothing arrived damaged! The monitor stand is actually made of metal and feels really premium as it’s not made of plastic! I did have to tinker with my settings a bit to calibrate to my liking as the colors feel washed out initially out of the box. I highly recommend this monitor as it works great. I was close to opting for the 144hz version, but figured this one does just fine. I would have liked this monitor to have included HDR, but you will not find that option with this model. Instead, opt for the slightly pricier model if this matters to you.

You won't find a better curved monitor with the features it has at this price. Menu is a bit cumbersome and I wish it was easier to switch inputs... But for the price and features - I'll deal with it.

Very good. It has good screen resolution, no screen Tears from what I can see. Runs smooth. It also have. Nice sleek design. Even with a plus, it has a red circle light in the back which I though was neat. The only problem I had is the horn menu in the monitor for changing settings, it’s a bit confusing to navigate but it’s manageable. Over all great!

Pros The monitor looks good for the price. Colors are a bit washed out but after some adjustments they look okay. Good value for money for the size and the curve. Cons But the monitor came with multiple dead pixels out of the box. Dead pixels on top left, right center). Disappointed with the quality. Now have to deal with the hassle of returns with Best Buy.

Great value buy. The monitor is a good size, curved slightly, and reasonably priced monitor. Picture quality is good but it’s mainly used for productivity applications. However, this monitor has some flaws. The stand is cheap and flimsy in my opinion. The menu interface is crap with hard to understand buttons with little guidance. Overall, for the price it does it’s job, just don’t expect a high feature and quality set for the price.

I am super impressed with this monitor. Bright and colorful. The refresh rate is pretty good too. Well worth the price. I have never owned a Viotek monitor before, but now I couldn't justify spending double for a bigger brand.

My old LG 34" curve started developing those horizontal lines and needed to be replaced. Best Buy was awesome and I was able to order this item and have it delivered to my home in less than 24 hours. Way to go Best Buy! This monitor is decent. Nice refresh rate and looks great. I do not like the menu interface layout. Not a big deal but it kind of sucks. Difficult to navigate through the menu options and select what you want. Also, I am unable to run the NVidia G-Sync compatibility mode with this monitor while playing games. The screen blanks out at regular intervals, every 10 seconds or so. Once I turn that off things are fine. Games look good with this monitor and productivity is great when working from home these days with a monitor this size. Overall for the price this is a good buy. I miss my old LG which was a far superior product but it was also hundreds of dollars more.

I bought this monitor because its size and specs were amazing considering the price. I had never heard of the brand and I’m glad I gave it a chance. Currently using it to work remote from home and it makes my HP 27 seem lacking when I compare the screen real estate.

I had a 4K (non- ultrawide) From a big name and it gave me all kinds of issues with my MBP. I returned it and picked this up. It is just AWESOME! The UW aspect is great, picture is great, and it was out of the box and setup within minutes. I don’t game so I can’t comment on that aspect. For the price this is impossible to beat!

I think people who are looking at this monitor probably know what they want in terms of spec but are debating weather to take a chance with this one because of the unknown brand name. So I hope this review could be helpful in making that decision. Been using this monitor for work and light gaming for a few days and I am very impressed. Because I already own a Samsung SJ55W with similar spec except the curved screen and slower refresh rate at 75hz at my office, I knew what the experience was going to be using an ultrawide monitor. The price was too good to be true so I had to do a lot of research on this monitor and it looks like Viotek is purchasing their monitors from ODMs (Original Design Manufacturer) and selling them under their brand. You can find many reviews of similar products that use the same panel under Kogan brand as well. Even after reading many positive reviews, I was still skeptical about the quality of this monitor because it is at least $100 less expensive than the other comparable models from well known brands. However, I pulled the trigger and decided to give it a try since you can easily return it thanks to Best Buy's great return policy. And after using it for a few days, I can say this is a well made product that really delivers it's promised specs and quality. The colors are vibrant, no dead pixels on my unit and the 100hz is great. I really don't have any complaint at this price point and personally, I think this monitor is a great value even at $400. The Viotek logo on the chin is ugly to be honest (Viotek, if you are reading this, please make your logo on your products more premium because it really makes this great monitor look like a cheap knockoff. Sorry if I hurt your feelings but I really believe your great products deserve a better logo. Kinda reminds me of my first monitor from eMachines which had the cheap looking logo.) Oh, and it makes squeaky noise when you grab the bezels trying to adjust the angles and that's when you know where they saved costs. The ability to adjust is also not good so I recommend using a vesa mount for a better adjustability. If you know that this monitor is a good deal at $350 with this kind of spec but are hesitating to pull the trigger because of the brand, save your time debating for days and just go get one. The fact that Best Buy is selling this products gives you the confidence that if you don't like it, you can always return it without any problem. But I think most of you will be very satisfied with the purchase.

Pros: This monitor is an outstanding value and a ton of monitor for the money. I'm using this monitor mainly for business related tasks (Spreadsheets, Access Databases, PDFs, and Email) and the amount of screen real estate is incredible. I can easily fit three full sized windows side by side which is awesome for productivity! Gaming performance is very solid as well, and the headphone hook on the back is awesome. Cons: The LCD monitor puts our a good amount of heat. Also, the inability to move the monitor up/down is a bit disappointing. I put the monitor on a 2" aluminum riser which was a super easy fix...but something to be aware of.
