QuestionThe guys at Best Buy said the viper alarm is 199 and in order for me to get it installed for free, I would have to buy the “total tech membership “ for 199 and the price of the alarm would be 100 less. I don’t see anyone else that had to buy membership. ?

- Answer You didn't have to buy it, it's just a much better value if you have use for the other total tech features, its saved me a lot of money and allowed me to try devices without losing money.
