Will this sound Bar stay on and ready when not in use? I don't want to have an additional device to switch on when we turn on the tv. We returned another sound bar attached to an older tv due to this. This 1 will be attached to a newer m55-c2 however. null

The sound bar will go into sleep mode when not in use. however, when you press vol + or - the system turns on automatically.

I just purchased this to pair with an LG Smart TV. If connected via the device connect smart app in the TV, it will come come on and you can control volume with the TV remote. The TV remote won't turn off the sound bar but the auto off feature will. It likely depends on the TV you are paring it with.

This Soundbar has a power saving feature that can be turned off. When on it will power off after about 15 minutes of no source. Turning this off will prevent the soundbar from automatically powering off.
