    Basically a good unit

For a small to medium room, this unit delivers a fairly good sound and spacial effect. The sub woofer is a surprisingly stout piece. It has very good, deep range for its size. The system won't win any rewards, but it seems competent in most moderate settings. Unfortunatly my unit has a problem with the volume adjustments. It developed a disturbing malfunction, which could not be resolved by either the Vizio or cable remotes. It seemed to go into a sleep state when adjusting the volume until at some random spot it would jump to full volume and could not be turned back down without scrambling with the remote frantically, then all of a sudden it would come alive again and turn the volume all the way down. It became uncontrollable and unreliable, and I disabled the whole system and set up my own receiver/AV system. I will be returning it. I have not yet gone into any more efforts to find out what the issue is. If I learn more about the symptoms, I'll update this review. Right now, I can't recommend it, based on this issue alone.

Was searching for a decent sound bar and preferred Vizio brand as I have a Vizio tv. Was a little hesitant but this sound bar and subwoofer sound amazing. It’s premium and quality sound for a portion of the price of a more expensive one. Yes maybe more speakers would make it better but this is just for my room it literally makes floor vibrate. Once you mess with the bass and treble and sub, it sounds amazing. Would definitely think about going more expensive when this one goes out eventually

If you want high quality sound for movies and music and enjoy a minimalist design then for under $300 this is one of your best choices, if not the best. The options are enough for most enthusiasts wanting to improve their TV viewing experience. Setup was easy and I was surprised at the clarity and power of the audio. Don't hesitate. Read the reviews. This is budget priced premium sound that raises the bar!

This is a great sound bar and the price is even better. I use this with my 65” 4K Home Theatre Display and it is a perfect pair. The speaker on the display is average to sub-average speakers. The sound provides plenty of kick with movies with a lot of bass and great for sports. The Bluetooth pairing is convenient and nice; the range is great, works anywhere in my apartment. Great buy, highly recommended.

These speakers definitely have a surround sound feeling to them, and I really like that the subwoofer is wireless and can be turned on and off independently. The sound is nothing ground breaking, but for a small living room it’s more than enough. My only complaint is there does not seem to be any sort of subwoofer level control, only on or off. I wish it could be raised or lowered independently.

I just picked this up yesterday via curbside along with yet another TV... lol This thing sounds like a stereo compared to ours in the living room. It sounds like there’s a car subwoofer(not exaggerating) in the corner of our family room! 10/10 I recommend, might have have to get a 2nd one for our living room now!! Awesome product, beyond satisfied.

The sound bar performs well for all kinds of sound. The subwoofer, which connects wireless is great. It’s a good budget sound bar. There are so many options to control, you will have to change it based on what you are listening through. It. No retreats buying it, but I also don’t say it’s the best. If you are tight on budget, go ahead it does the job.

I must have spent hours upon hours researching sound bars for my new tv. My budget was up to $400, but really didn't want to spend that. The reviews for this unit were high, so I finally gave in and bought it. A little over a hundred bucks and I can say I am very happy with it. No complaints thus far. Easy to use and install. Synced right up with my tv and remote.

I heard some distortion for the first time last night in the sound bar. In three days it will be a month since I’ve purchased this product. We cut it off and cut it back on. Then it worked just fine, but that still was weird and should not have happened. What is to come in the future, I hope for the best.

    Best Budget Soundbar in 2017!!

Here is a YouTube video that covers everything about this soundbar: - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWUi-1EoOIE The Vizio SB3621N-E8 is an incredible sound bar for those on a budget! I bought it on sale for $120 dollars and you can usually find it around $150 when it's not on sale. In the box, it comes with a remote, 3.5mm Aux cable, RCA and coaxial cable, an optical cable, manual, and the wall mounting brackets and instructions. Now when you're trying to decide which soundbar to get, there are so many options on the market and it can become a little overwhelming deciding which one to pick and which one is right for you. The Vizio definitely does stand out and is very unique, but is it the best budget soundbar in 2017? Let's find out! So first up the design, starting from the side it has a silver plate which has a really clean and sharp finish. From there, majority of the sound bar is made out of fabric and this design definitely doesn't come off cheap and maintains a high quality look. In the middle you have you power, input, and bluetooth button as well as your volume control buttons. Overall the design of the soundbar looks great and has a sleek design. The 5 inch subwoofer also has a silver finish in the front which looks like a premium sub and on the bottom, you have the power input, the pairing and on and off button. On the side, it's mainly all black and then lastly on the back it has an all silver plate design with the V logo and looks absolutely beautiful and very sharp! As far as the inputs on the back, there is an aux, usb, and power input and on the right hand side it has a digital as well as an optical input. The remote that comes with the soundbar is really nice and it also has a little screen on the top. You can navigate through the menu and adjust the soundbar's treble and bass, you can also adjust the subwoofer bass level, as well as select different inputs such as aux, bluetooth, etc. Also, when you increase or decrease the volume, on the left hand side of the bar, there will be led lights that indicate the volume level by showing dots. Now let's talk about the sound! So I spent time watching movies, listening to music, and playing video games and what I gathered is the soundbar produces great clarity with a lot of details in the mids and highs and has a great tight punchy bass which is a little on the leaner side. The 5 inch subwoofer is great has the bass is very tight and organized and I wouldn't say it's too bass heavy or too little, rather it's right in the middle. When I was watching a movie, the vocals sounded so crisp and clear and you can hear everything so easily. While listening to music with lots of instruments, you can hear so much detail in the music and you might even hear things that you might of not heard before because the clarity is outstanding and it sounds really clean. Normally I would have things to point out that I am not a huge fan of, but with the Vizio SB3621N-E8, there's really not much to complain about. For $120 dollars, you're getting such a high quality setup and it really comes off as a $250 dollar soundbar because the sound is incredible! I would say if you are trying to upgrade from you TV speakers or computer speakers and you want great sound spreading around the room and bringing the room to life, then the Vizio SB3621N-E8 is a fantastic option! Now if you want to upgrade and you're not on a budget and you want a very wide surround sound, especially if you have a really large room then you might want to consider a different soundbar. I do want to mention that those soundbars can cost anywhere from $500 - $600 or even higher and that's why the vizio really stands out because you're getting a really high quality soundbar system for a great price!

I initially purchased the Sony HTCT290 soundbar/sub combo to replace my old Sony 5.1 setup. I returned it almost immediately. It sounded like it was in a tunnel and had a sub that sounded like someone was hitting a thing piece of cardboard. I read some reviews and found one that said the Vizio SB3621N-E8M blew everything (including Bose) out of the water, and they were right. This soundbar sounds crystal clear and has powerful deep bass (I actually run it two notches below the standard setting because of how awesome the bass range is; if I turn it up it'll blow my house away). I bought it a few weeks ago now and I'm still impressed every time I turn it on. I haven't done a lot of movie watching, so I can't speak to the surround abilities, but this soundbar sounds absolutely amazing for $150. Games sound brilliant. From EDM to classical to country, this thing is a pleasure to listen to. No distortion, gets LOUD when you want it to, and just... uhg. It's amazing. 100% better than my old sound system and light years better than the Sony HTCT290 (and cheaper, too!). The controller is simple and straight forward, setup was a breeze, and Bluetooth connects without hassle (just press the Bluetooth button on the bar for super quick and easy connecting after you pair). The LED indicators on the left of the bar tell you what port you're connected to, and the bass/treble options are indicated by the LED lights as well. All you have to do is use the quick start guide and you'll understand it in a few minutes. Super easy. My ONLY super minor complaint with this bar is that it doesn't have a quick "night" mode option. All you have to do is adjust the bass though and you're basically good to go; only takes a few clicks of a button. I'm a full believer in Vizio soundbars now. Amazing quality. Buy it. Buy it now. You won't regret it.

I purchased the Sony 4K TV the same week my Onkyo reciever took a dive. So, I decided to get a soundbar since I wanted a simpler set up for family members. Are there better soundbars, yeah. However, the sound from the Vizio including the wireless subwoofer was outstanding in the store environment so I decided to take a chance. It was around $160.00 at the time. Set up was easy. There is no HDMI but the optical is fine. You just cannot control the volume with your TV remote depending on the brand. I use a Harmony One anyway so it didn't matter. The sound is awesome for the price. Both Sams and Costco put it onsale several days afterwards for $99.00 and Best Buy refunded the difference. If you want a soundbar that will enhance your viewing experience and don't care about HDMI pass through AND do not want to spend alot of money, this is a great bar.
