Great sound and quality for a great price. No need to pay extra for a big name. Easy set up and Connected quickly. Unbeatable.

After research, this was recommended as best value for the money. I have this connected to my Vizio tv in the bedroom and have zero complaints (but one quibble...) Sound quality is crisp and clear, the bass enhances the overall sound well. The only quirk (people complain about the led lights, that doesn't bother me) is the sleep function of the speaker. If not used for a few hours, it sleeps. Can only be turned back on by adjusting the volume, it doesn't detect the tv is powered up and feeding it sound again. A minor quibble, but still something to mention.

This Vizio soundbar packs a lot of punch for the $149 that I paid for it. Setup was pretty easy, the wireless subwoofer connected automatically to the soundbar, and the remote control is full sized, not a credit card (and therefore harder to lose). But most of all? The sound from this thing is really amazing. I thought the speakers from my Panasonic plasma was fine, but Vizio soundbar got such good reviews, and was so inexpensive that I had to give it a try. I'm really glad I did. It fills my relatively large living room, best $149 I've spent in a long time.

I bought this soundbar/subwoofer combo to use in a large, spacious living room with a very tall ceiling. It pushes enough sound to fill the room, no problem. And it sounds great. Clear highs (without sounding tinny), pleasant mids, and plenty of powerful BASSSS. I was hesitant to buy a Vizio speaker, since they're not really known for their audio products compared to other brands (e.g. Sony, Bose, JBL). However, I listened to all the 10+ units that my local Best Buy had on display, and this unit had the best all-around sound out of all the under-$200 units. It even sounded as good (and sometimes even better) than some of the more expensive units. 5/5.

This sound bar, along with the included subwoofer, is great at higher volume for movies, and it makes it easier to hear dialog at lower volumes than the built in speakers of flat-panel TV's. When you combine that with the Bluetooth capability and low price, it's a great choice. I am very happy with this purchase.

Got this for $120 on Black Friday weekend for my college sons who are roommates . Price was $180. Sound is great. Bass is very good. Wish I had gotten one for myself at the cheap price

I chose to purchase the Vizio sound bar based on price and continuity of my Vizio TV. These are my first Vizio purchases. I am impressed with both. After careful comparisons between other Soundbars, I decided to take a chance with this one. After a 20 minute hook-up and installation (wall mounted with hardware included) Tv sensed the sounder and sound bar paired with the wireless Sub-woofer. I tested all features and range of music, movie and TV. I was very satisfied with the sound levels and clarity. At this price point, I am happy with the performance. Certainly a product worthy of recommendation.

Awesome value for those setting up their entertainment center and looking to save some cash while doing it. Easy set up, looks good, great sound, and works well with the harmony 700.

Let me start by saying I am far from an audiophile. This review is basically from a novice audio perspective so would best reflect how an average consumer would like this product. I've had this soundbar since February. Over that time I have really grown to enjoy the soundbar more and more. If you are watching general TV shows, say HGTV, the audio quality will not be as immediately noticeable. However, if watching a movie or a TV show with higher audio quality, this soundbar shines. I think the sub really adds to the immersive feel, and it does sound like actual surround sound at times even though this is 2.1. The sub really reverberates at times and I have to turn the volume down to not disturb neighbors in my apartment. I think for the money this is an excellent soundbar. The more I've gotten used to it, the more I notice how much it enhances my audio quality. Movies really sound fantastic on it. Installation was relatively easy. Everything was pretty straightforward and it comes with a couple cable options so you can choose which you prefer. However you may need to go into you TV settings and make sure you set the audio to come through the soundbar. I also use an Apple TV and had to change those settings to the soundbar as well. I had a syncing issue when using my DVD player, and eventually by directly plugging the digital cable from the soundbar to the DVD player got it to sync up. Aside from those quibbles the soundbar works well. I also like the design of the soundbar and the remote control is decent. You can adjust some of the settings (treble, bass) to your liking, but I ended up just going back to the default settings. Overall I am really satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to someone who wants a better audio system but not to spend an outrageous sum on it.

I had been considering getting a sound bar for a while and read reviews of many different brands and models before deciding on this one. When purchasing online I opted for the “open box” that had an excellent/good as new rating and was supposed to be as if I had purchased one brand new, only when I received the box it was missing one of the (many) adapter cords it comes with and the brackets that allows it to be hung on the wall. It also only had the Spanish version of the installation manual, so I had to find it on the web in English. Luckily, I didn’t need that particular cord, and didn’t plan to hang it on the wall, but if a product is said to have all of the original parts, it should have them, Best Buy! However, that wasn’t a reflection of the performance of this device, but instead of the seller so I kept this at 5 stars. It did take me a while to figure out which cord(s) needed to be plugged into what, but I think that was just because of MY setup. The sound is amazing! It sounds like I’m watching a movie at the theater, and it’s so crisp and clear. I also like the look of it—it’s very sleek. I’m very pleased with this sound bar, and the price was great. I am NOT pleased with Best Buy, and receiving a product with missing components. Not only that, this item was shipped in its original “Vizio” box instead of packing it into another box that would hide the contents. And living on a busy street, having a Vizio box sitting on your porch is just asking for it to be stolen. Fortunately I got it inside before that happened. Best Buy needs to revamp their online ordering and shipping practices.

For the price, it’s a top choice (look up audio reviews if you are skeptical). I use this in place of a Bose I had before. The Bose sounded a bit better but didn’t have a subwoofer. My only complaint is that the setting to smooth highs and lows from TV isn’t as good as the Bose so I find myself reaching for the remote for volume. Music though, sounds great and as good as the Bose I had costing much more. I have these on my bedroom tv’s as my central unit is full up system. Low price makes it easy to use on spare TVs and you don’t have to listen to the god awful tv speakers. One last thing,, you can’t add wireless speakers to this for the rear. Thus, fill surround not possible with this sound bar. But, if you want that, Visio has other models.

I have always been a fan of Vizio. This Soundbar and Subwoofer we put in our master bedroom, and the first time we turned it on, I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of sound that exists. The bass was very rumbly, and the sound was crisp. Absolutely love it. I was a little hesitant to purchase the sounder, since I have a Sony bar in my front room, and I really like the ability to see a numerical number associated with the volume, but the Vizio bar has a different way to measure the volume. It has little lights on the left side, and as the volume increases, so do the lights. I wasn't as put-off about it as I thought I would be.

Fricken love the quality and for being the cheapest one there was probably the best sounding one I still feel like I'm at Best buy when we watch netflix

These have very good sound. They were easy to set with a tv and to pair with my phone to stream music.

this is very easy to setup and use by the way just to it out of the box set It up and hooked it up to my tv by the way and was very easy to setup by the way took me less then 5 min to hook up by the way. I even play gta 5 on my ps4 by the way and have it hooked up to my xbox one x by the way and it is even hooked up to my iPhone 7 plus on Bluetooth by the way with the subwoofer the music crystal clear and the sound is very crisp by the way and the bass is great by the way I would defintley recommend this to any one by the way because you get good dolby digital and audio by the way.

Fairly easy set up. Had to use to aux cable just due to my TV, sound quality is more than adequate. The remote however is awful. Small text, no backlight when you have the lights down low, and switching modes is cumbersome.

Bought this on sale to use with our newly purchased Visio TV. Glad we did. The sound is awesome. Easy to set-up and use. Well worth the money.

It’s good for what you pay for! Wireless subwoofer is great. The sound bar makes things sound more clearly. I know when I watch a movie sometimes I would miss what they are saying with my normal tv speakers so I would rewind and raise the volume and then I would have lower the volume because it would be too loud during action Parts. But the sound bar elimates that for me.
