“Can this soundbar learn volume up and down commands from a cable remote control? I am able to teach my Klipsch sound bar commands and would like to do so for this one in my bedroom. I plan on using optical input on the soundbar.”

• My Dish remote can raise the volume up and down. When shutting off the TV and Hopper the Dish remote puts the soundbar on standby. I also use the optical input on the soundbar. To change the settings on the soundbar, you must use the Vizio remote control.
