“I have an extra M Series Sub with rear satellite speakers from a M51a-H6 in which the soundbar portion died. Any thoughts if that sub will mate with this lower end M series soundbar and will output 5.1 sound to the attached rear satellite speakers?”

No it won't because vizio pre-pairs each system and it cannot be changed.

Please try again later.In VIZIO Sound Bar Systems the components are self-contained and balanced, so the wattage transmitted between each internal component is already configured to give you the maximum Sound Pressure Level. To maintain this balance, additional speakers cannot be added.
