QuestionThis is a stupid question. But how do you remove the back cover from the remote (to insert batteries) without breaking it? The included User Manual says, "Remove the battery cover by gently sliding it away from the remote." Gentleness doesn't work.

QuestionI have an older Samsung that does not support ARC and/or eARC. My connection, therefore, seems limited to optical. Can I take advantage of Dolby Atmos & DTS:X connecting by optical only?

- Answer No. The bandwidth constraints don’t allow it to. You’ll need hdmi with arc or earc.

- Answer This sound bar having the 2.1 format indicates that it will have left and right channels, along with a subwoofer. A sound bar with a 3.1 or 5.1 format would feature a dedicated center channel.

QuestionMy TV does not have Bluetooth. Can the subwoofer connect with wire?

- Answer The subwoofer connects wirelessly to the soundbar, not the TV so bluetooth on your TV is unnecessary. As long as the soundbar itself is connected to the TV via HDMI or some other source the subwoofer will work.

- Answer While the sound bar is labeled as black in color, the amount of light and angle viewed from, can make it appear to be varying shades of black and gray.

- Answer Hmm not sure if 3d is similar to Dolby atmos, I would get it, try it and bring it back if you not satisfied. In movies with Dolby Atmos is sounds awesome.

- Answer In VIZIO Sound Bar Systems the components are self-contained and balanced, so the wattage transmitted between each internal component is already configured to give you the maximum Sound Pressure Level. To maintain this balance, additional speakers cannot be added.

QuestionBASIC info, please. Two of us, hard of hearing with aids. Have a 2014 LED 75" Samsung TV. Need clarity sound. Is this model a good choice? Says needs audio connection compatibility. What's that? Will I be able to install with basic knowledge? No pricier.

- Answer Connectivity means you need either an admin port that is free, or and optical cable to connect it to your tv. For greatest sound if your tv has an Hdmi port which says next to it that it is an "eARC" port than that is best. You can also use bluetooth connection but you tv has to be able to pair with bluetooth devices. If you have a DVD player to watch movies on a disc than you can connect that to the soundbar too. The sound that this system produces is fabulous. I love it.

- Answer Try connecting the Soundbar optical cord into an Optical Splitter, into a Stereo Receiver, then Optical into the TV. I have a Stereo Receiver that has 5.1 surround and can use the extra surround sound + the sound bar and the 2 woofers, one is the VIZIO, the other is the woofer for the receiver. Just an idea.
