• Try connecting the Soundbar optical cord into an Optical Splitter, into a Stereo Receiver, then Optical into the TV. I have a Stereo Receiver that has 5.1 surround and can use the extra surround sound + the sound bar and the 2 woofers, one is the VIZIO, the other is the woofer for the receiver. Just an idea.

• In VIZIO Sound Bar Systems the components are self-contained and balanced, so the wattage transmitted between each internal component is already configured to give you the maximum Sound Pressure Level. Additional speakers cannot be added.
