“How can I connect sound bar to this Vizio TV using audio cable with red and white ends? The cable box will be connected to tv via an HDM1 cable. Besides turning off internal tv speakers, what else would have to do to get the TV sound through soundbar?”

I just hooked mine up to Bose powered speakers with RCA connectors. On bottom row (outputs) there is both optical and analog (RCA connector) audio outputs
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can connect your sound bar to the analog red and white audio out port on the back of the television. You television should send audio to the sound bar automatically once this connection is made and the sound bar is on the correct audio input.
