“I have some Bose speakers with a standard 3.5mm audio jack/plug whatever it is called, what do I need to do to connect these speakers to this TV? The jack doesn’t seem to fit in any of these inputs.”

This television does not have a 3.5 mm headphone port so you would need an adapter to connect it to the red and white or digital optical output.
