Turn surround sound off so all channels of audio get sent to the sound bar.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hook them up ,you paid for them.Visio has systems with just the soundbar and sub if thats what you want.That being said I dont think so but it sure is nice to have surround sound when watching an action movie.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I hooked up the rears and have great surround sound when action movies are being viewed. I do not like the subwoofer bass when watching network tv, so I turn it off (the subwoofer has an on/off switch on it) and the sound from the soundbar still sounds good.
