“Is there output on the rear speakers if the TV broadcast is stereo instead of surround sound?”

• Thank you for inquiring about our product. There would not be. The rear speakers are designed for use with a 5.1 signal. Stereo will not find them used. Thanks again and have a great day.

• If you go through the user manual there is different ways of setting this up to work if your TV doesn't have the "surround sound" broadcast. I can't answer your question specifically off had but I know I had to read through the different options to get the best set up for our TV.
