Does the cast input have HDR capabilities? null

yes because the tv has the ability. as long as the content thats being streamed is uploaded and streaming in hdr then thats exactly what you will get with good internet connection.

Netflix does. Not sure about any other apps.

The cast input in the M50-D1 does have HDR capabilities with Netflix and VUDU. There are certain titles that support HDR.- Jesse
