- Answer Thank you for a great question on our SmartCast™ M50-D1! This display can accept 4K@60Hz through all HDMI ports. However, this at differing chroma subsampling rates, pixel clock rates, and color bit depth. HDMI port 1 has a pixel clock rate of 600MHz, and can accept up to 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 Chroma with 8-bit color, or 4:2:2 Chroma with 12-bit color. HDMI ports 2-4 have a 340MHz pixel clock rate, and can accept up to 4K@60Hz with 4:2:0 Chroma and 8-bit color. QuestionSo I'm confused about the tuner being absent from the tv...I don't have a cable box but I just get brighthouse cable through a cable cord coming from the wall... would this work ti screw in this tv directly or you have to have an actual cable box? Thanks!

- Answer This is not a TV but a monitor. It has no tuner so you would need some type of box.

- Answer I set my TV up on the network and chose to mirror it with my desktop PC.. works like a champ for anything on my pc. Perfect image on TV wirelessly. Sweet ! I use Chrome too.

QuestionI know you can cast apps from the included android remote (tablet) to the tv, but are there any apps built directly into the tv (Youtube, Netflix) so I can just watch from the tv directly instead of casting?

- Answer Sorry but no you cannot unless you have an external device hooked up via HDMI that has the apps on it such as a game console

- Answer The Best refers to HDMI ports in general. All of the HDMI ports will upscale 1080p to 4K. HDR is only available on HDMI 1 and through Casting content

- Answer I recommend the Vizio Soundcast 5.1 channel sound bar but any Vizio sound bar is better than the T.V. speakers. Also, Vizio sound bars come with multiple connections included. I use the optical connection but you have to test for your preference.
