Is it common for the screen to turn black for less than a min every so often while using hdmi 1? If not then how to fix it? null

I found out using hdmi with downsampling is the culprit for the screen turning black so HDR is kind of useless with this display unless VIZIO knows some way to use hdmi 1 without any hiccups.

Ours turns black for very minimal amount of time but it's really only when we were casting something from an app & then when we switch input from casting to HDMI 1 which is our cable DVR. Think normal as it has to un-cast what were watching & then switch over & wait for device you have in HDMI 1 to awaken or respond & send output.

My Screen is blinking black also for less than a minute every so often! Not sure what is going on. I don't think it started happening until I turned my HDR capabilities on with my Xbox One S. I've only owned my TV for less than a day though. So if there is a fix I would love to know! Thanks

It's only common with vizio on 4k tv's, it's something they need to fix.
