Sorry but no you cannot unless you have an external device hooked up via HDMI that has the apps on it such as a game console

Please try again later.From having this TV for a month as far as i know the tablet is the only way, the default remote for the TV has no physical buttons for apps like other Vizio TV's nor does it have an apps menu button either, its very simple and I'm assuming they did it this way so you the buyer can use and rely on the tablet as a remote for the TV more than the default remote.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There aren't apps built into the tv. It's done through wifi, so once you're connected with the remote you can access those. Which you would need anyway even if they were built directly into the tv. You can also stream from your phone, or computer (YouTube, Netflix, etc.) Sorry if this wasn't helpful. What's the reason you'd rather do it from the tv?
