It is possible to attach a computer to the TV using an HDMI cord. You will then need to adjust the input on the TV screen to match the HDMI input used on the back of the TV. There is also a possibility that you may need to adjust some computer settings as well.

It can be used as a monitor for your PC. In fact this is the exact reason why I bought this TV. You just need a video card with hdmi out capabilities. The only difference between this and a PC monitor is that the PC monitor will be able to handle way higher hz ratings. Although this TV is a 60hz panel it can handle up to 120 hz with the picture software enhancement features. PC monitors can range from 120hz to 244hz. Good gaming PC monitors are cheaper than this TV but not nearly as massive in size with the biggest PC monitors topping out at like 27-30 inches.
