Yes, this is brand new 2018. Has the TV tuner like previous models did not.

I believe the year is determined in the model number, e1 is 2017 and f1 is 2018. This model is listed as F1 so its 2018 Model: P55-F1

I love this tv 2018 model. To the response about the hrz rate Lg vizio Samsung and many other lie about the native rate and display there made up doubled hrz rate.

yes, this tv is the 2018 model. ***be aware..the Best Buy website specifications on this tv say it’s 240hz. It’s actually a 120hz panel using software to achieve what Vizio and most other manufacturers refer to as “effective refresh rate” I’m satisfied with the tv (no true 240hz tvs available anymore apparently) I just feel a bit misled.
