• M558 Active LED zones - 90 M556 Active LED zones - 10 More LED zones implies better contrast and better darkroom performance. Also, M556 doesn’t have quantum color spectrum.

• The biggest difference is the Local area Dimming array. The M556 has only 10 and the M558 has 90. I suggest this review: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/vizio/m-series-quantum-2019 My Family Enjoys the M558 for both games (Switch, PC) and Movie night!
