“I just purchased this TV and set it up on Saturday 12/7. It has turned on by itself at least 5 times and I am not sure why... does anyone have a solution for this? I have changed the HDMI port from Comcast box, I have also reset it.”

Try turning off Consumer Electronics Control (CEC). The tv will turn itself on whenever a device connected to a HDMI powers on. In your case, I am assuming that the TV turns itself on right after the Xfinity set top box does it's nightly update.

Fairly easy process and fix. Did not take much time for the tech and he was really great. However, now we are having more issues and our SmartCast will not work. You might want to consider that when calling and placing your service request.
