• There is no coaxial cord hook up, but your cable provider should have boxes that are hdmi ready. As far as I know there is no coaxial to hdmi adapter

• This TV does not have a built-in tuner. If you have a cable box or satellite box then you can connect an HDMI cable or Component cable as normal and won't notice a difference. If you are using a Coaxial cable or an Antenna then you would need an external tuner.

• I see alot of people talking about the Homerun HD tuner. Apparently you don't need a tuner to use it. Might want to look into it.
