Great display for a home theater

First, the reason I bought this was for the UHD panel. I knew this did not have a co-axial input (I use a cable box) and I also run by system through a receiver. Even though the screen is not HDR, it has a wonderful picture (after tweaking the settings). This was a great value for a UHD display. PROS: Great picture (deep blacks, vibrant colors) Easy set-up (pairing with the remote and my iPhone/Ipad Chromecast (basic, not Ultra) is build in - easy to use Has the HDMI 2.0 (HDPC 2.2) on the first HDMI input Great value (I picked mine up for under $550). CONS: Not HDR (if that is a must-have for you) No TV tuner (I didn't care) Only one UHD HDMI input - you really need to use a receiver if you want to stream UHD as well as play UHD movies You do have to use your tablet/phone to make picture/sound adjustments - the small remote does control volume, input selection and picture mode) Overall, if you want to get the big-screen experience on a budget, this is a great way to do. You can certainly get a better display spending hundreds of dollars more - but this is a great value which will serve me well for several years.

    Great Price to Quality Ratio

These look very nice. I have two and I think the picture quality is amazing for what I payed for them. The chromecast works great. I stream almost everything from my phone now. One thing I noticed is that the LED backlighting is more subtle than some displays. It makes the screen look dimmer. Side by side it doesn't look as vibrant, which some people mistake for lesser quality. In reality the picture quality is very good just not as bright, which is fine if you aren't watching two TVs side by side. I tweaked some of the settings and was able to get the dynamic backlighting turned off and it looks better(to me). I took one star off for the sound. Built in sound on TVs is never great - and this is no exception. Needs a soundbar.

On a budget? Might be worth spending a bit more.

I purchased this product after considering other affordable 60 inch 4K sets. The technical reviews I read did say that this was a lower quality set compared to Samsung and LG models that cost a bit more, but the price was so good and I wanted to see how it performed. After several days of tweaking the configuration and thinking the picture didn't look as good as even my old 1080P set, I purchased the Samsung model (UN60KU6300) and set them up for a side by side comparison. The Samsung blew this Vizio set away. Needless to say, even though the Samsung cost a bit more, I'm keeping it and returning this Vizio. In my opinion, the Samsung model is well worth the extra $$ over this Vizio.

E-Series delivers a great value with high performance picture quality. With Chromecast built-in, it lets you stream content from thousands of apps right from your mobile device, and work with the VIZIO SmartCast app.
If you’re willing to spend a little more money, we do have our Performance series which offers the ultimate in picture quality - with Dolby Vision HDR and Wide Color Gamut for the best-in-class picture quality. P-Series also has Chromecast built-in, which lets you stream content from thousands of apps right from your mobile device. And it comes with a 6”Full HD tablet remote as well that’s preloaded with the VIZIO SmartCast app. VIZIO

We’ve had this tv for about 2 months now and have had no issues. The picture quality is great. Vizio comes out with frequent updates to the app and tv. There are a few tv and movie apps already on it like Hulu and Netflix but things like YouTube you have to cast it to the tv. The chrome cast is really easy to use. The app is a little irritating, there’s certain characters it won’t let you type on your phone keyboard, but the app isn’t horrible. Hopefully in upcoming updates the app will be more user friendly. But in reality we barely use the Vizio app since you can cast from the app you are currently in, like YouTube. It is definitely great quality for its price, would buy it again.

Tv died 7 months after purchase

I bought the tv in August 2017 and the tv screen stopped working in the middle of a show in March 2018. I called Vizio because the tv was still under warranty. Two weeks later I received a refurbished tv as a replacement. A couple of hours after I received the refurbished tv, I noticed several lines running down the left side of the screen. I then called vizio again. I now have to wait an additional two weeks for another replacement. This has been an extremely frustrating and drawn out process.

Dont be fooled by the low price! 1st off we had a 55" Vizio 4k and it died 2 weeks after warranty just lasted over a year. So we upgraded to this TV and the picture is so grainy and even 4K YouTube videos are low quality! We stream all content on Gig Speed service with Ethernet direct to TV so its not the signal that is the reason for low quality 4K. Not having a tuner also sucks as you have to use your smart phone and the app and not as many apps for Apple users. We returned it for LG 60" 4K much better picture!

Thank you for your feedback. There are a few different things that affect picture quality. One thing is ambient lighting. If there are lights on in the room that can make the picture not look as bright as it would if it were in a darker room. Another thing is the type of content being watched. If content was filmed or is being broadcast in a lower resolution it can cause the picture to look grainy. Another big factor to picture quality is personal preference. Because of this our displays come with preloaded picture modes like Calibrated, Vivid, and Standard that can be customized and changed through the VIZIO SmartCast App. VIZIO

I bought this TV E60 and after 2 years the screen developed dark shadows in upper right corner. Contacted Visio. They offered a couple trouble shooting ideas which didn’t work. I contacted customer service again and their solution was to offer to sell me another TV. Not much less than I could purchase in the store. I bought a Vizio because the store tech said it’s very dependable and Vizio stands behind their product. I disagree and wish now I would have purchased a Samsung.

I did my research before buying this display, I figured out it's been years since the last time I used the TV Tuner so I decided to give it a try. I have connected my Cable, Xbox, Apple TV and other HDMI devices and works great. I read other reviews before buying but clearly others had different expectations and may have expected a traditional TV. This display may not be easy to set up if you are not into technology or gadgets.

I purchased this television on Cyber Monday for an excellent sale of $599 for a 4K 60 inch television with 120GHz refresh rate and built in Chromecast that upscale to 4K, this TV has been a dream and made everything look beautiful. Honestly a very good 4K for the price, very impressed. Only problem I had was installing the leg stands and having a screw threaded incorrectly.

I like Vizio TVs very much. I bought this TV thinking it would be as good as the one I purchased before. I read the reviews and noticed the picture issues many people were having. Within the first week of using this television I started to experience bad picture quality and red vertical lines going down the screen. The only way I was able to remove the lines was to constantly turn the TV off and turn it back on. Due to similar reviews, I am returning this television.

Vizio Tv is my favorite brand. I bought this Tv for my parents living room. It's the perfect size and weight. They were able to easily hang the TV on the wall. The only thing that I do not like is the remote. With this smart TV, I was expecting a keyboard remote control but it didn't come with it. It came with a simple remote and its complicated to set up the internet and open the application on the tv without a laptop.Other than that, it's a good TV is does what it's suppose to do.

We purchased this television as a return still in the box. I read other reviews AFTER the fact and before I had opened it since it was an Xmas gift. I was so worried based off of some of the things I read saying you have to have your phone app to control this tv, but it has a remote still and is now functioning off of my cable remote anyway so worried for nothing! It is well loved in our house hold. Great quality and picture.

TV died after 6 months. Still under warranty, but vizio would not back their product. offered a smaller 50" tv at a discount to replace and wouldn't even offer to replace same size. Last Vizio I will ever purchase. Google 'vizio' and 'pop', you will see this is a known problem and vizio won't even acknowledge or even replace during the warranty period. Buyer beware

Just perfect! It is exactly what I wanted. Great price, great picture. The sound is better than expected. Chrome cast works just fine. Plenty of connections. Note; there is no built in tuner. Which is exactly the way I want it. I AM IN LOVE...AND HAPPY with my TV...we just had our first month anniversary! Thank you Jean-Lucas for helping me select this wonderful TV and my wife and kids for a great present. And Best Buy

Worst tv! Ours is broke after a year. Black lines appeared on the screen which now have formed a giant square in the left hand corner along with more lines. When connecting vizio about the problem they told me there is nothing they can do we were one month over warranty. Stay away from this brand!

Would be 5 star but the TV I received had a damaged box and there were bad pixels the size of a gnat in the lower left of the screen, GOOD NEWS, VIZIO warranty picked up the bad set, reboxed and set up the warranty exchange. The new TV is much better,I have a feeling since the box was damaged the original set was compressed, VIZIO is a GREAT COMPANY and took care of it.....

    Vizio 4K 60' TV lasted 2.75 years

    JobBob

The TV was great for 2.75 years, until something went wrong. The TV stopped being turned on properly. After communicating with Vizio, they tried to help, but finally said that it was broken. According to the customer service people, I should buy a new TV and they could help with a good deal on a new Vizio. At least they made me laugh.

60", which is a perfect size for the rather long living room it's in, built-in Chromecast, so I can stream from my computer, phone, or tablet, and it's a trusted name, so I (more than likely) don't need to worry about it failing in the first year. It being 4K is just icing on the cake. All that, and even when I added the Vizio 5.1 sound bar I spent less than $1000. Hands down, best deal out there.
