Compared to Sony which is usually the brand of TV i only purchase it holds up. I compared them all and Vizio made its way as the first of their kind in my home and I am impressed. It will work with Xbox One S with the HDR which is why I purchased it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Vizio has developed into an awesome TV manufacturing company. The full array backlighting that Vizio uses for its TV's is simply awesome. Why the others have not implemented this into their Tv's is beyond me. They only do it in their high end sets that cost 2 or 3 times the price of the Vizio M or P series. It does take some tweaking to get the setting right but when you do it will amaze you. There are several websites that have calibration setting for this model. I work in professional sound and audio at our performing arts center and install home theater systems as a sideline job. Yes you can get better televisions, but at much more cost. Very good tv with excellent black level and shadow detail at a great price!

Please try again later.I'm around the big 3 and Vizio pretty much all day every day and while Vizio has improved their picture a decent amount for the first gen P series it still is very lackluster compared to what Samsung and Sony has to offer even in their introductory models. Vizio colors are still very muted and everything takes on a brownish gray tint, motion is still god awful and when there's a lot of fine detail with sharp contrast be it light and dark or color there is a ton of artifacting that takes place. For a budget tv it's gets the job done but just keep in mind that there's a reason why they're so cheap.
